The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is the largest student-run event programming organization at Drexel University.


Our purpose is to plan and execute a variety of successful events, reflective of the diverse interests and needs of the undergraduate student body. CAB strives, through its programs, to entertain, educate and enrich, while building a cohesive campus community.

Special Events

The Special Events Committee is tasked with planning and organizing campus-wide events as well as off campus outings. Special Events is composed of innovative students whose goal is to provide a variety of interactive events for the diverse undergraduate demographic. Some past events that this committee has planned include: Block Party, basketball game tailgates, HalloweenFest, amusement park trips, and Puppy Pawlooza.

Culture & Discovery

The Culture and Discovery committee aims to provide Drexel students with opportunities to celebrate diverse cultures and unique experiences in Philadelphia and beyond. Our team strives to promote inclusivity and involvement among the student body while exposing them to new, oftentimes uncommon events. Past events include cultural holidays such as Holi, Hellenic Culture Night, speakers such as Symone Sanders and Laverne Cox, multicultural festivals such as Festival of Nations and Passport DC, trips to museums and historical attractions around the region, as well as celebrating Philadelphia culture with trips to 76ers and Flyers games.

Performing & Fine Arts

MOVIES, DANCE, BROADWAY, TIE-DYE! Everything artsy you love and know about CAB is done right here.The Performing and Fine Arts committee ( PAFA), allows students to gain appreciation for various art forms! Our goal is to expose Drexel Students to the always changing art world of the Mid-Atlantic. Some of these ART-tastic events in the past have been a pottery class, a dance workshop, and even theater shows such as Mamma Mia and Mean Girls. A majority will be on campus, in Philly, and around the rest of the metropolitan areas. Come see what PAFA has planned for you!

The Traditions Committee works collaboratively to put an innovative spin on events that the Drexel Community looks forward to year after year. These include Dragonfly, Crystal Ball, and the Comedy Show.

Marketing is the bridge between CAB and the Drexel student body. Consisting of a Public Relations and Design team, the marketing committee is responsible for creating media to reach Drexel students and building partnerships with student organizations to make our events best fit the ever-changing needs of the Drexel community.
